Privacy Policy

Who are we?

Our site address is: https://blog.vfly2.com.

Comments

When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam comments.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly displayed alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to this website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location information from images on the website.

Access Records

Currently, our site uses Matomo to collect visitor information, including operating system, device type, browser, access time, and IP. However, only the first two segments of the IP (for example, 123.123.0.0) will be retained, which are used for country identification.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website address with cookies. This makes commenting more convenient by saving you from re-entering this information. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie doesn’t contain any personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Upon login, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login status will be maintained for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not contain personal data and only records the ID of the article you just edited. This cookie lasts for one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Interacting with embedded content from other sites is no different from visiting those sites directly.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Who we share your information with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Apart from the above situation, none of your information will be shared with any third parties.

How long we retain your information

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be retained indefinitely. We do this so we can recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except changing their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have ever left comments, you can request us to provide you with an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. This includes any data that you have provided to us. You can also request us to erase all personal data that we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Currently, your data is not being sent anywhere.
